Mini Camp
Who has more fun – the kids or the parents? This camp is a chance for younger kids to sample summer camp. They live and play and worship just like the big kids, but for a shorter time and with Mom or Dad (or Grandma, or any other responsible adult) by their sides.
Traditional Camps
These camps, structured for each individual age group, follow the 67-year-old Mikell tradition where fun, friendship, and God come together to create a joyous, one-of-a kind experience called Camp Mikell. Mornings are dedicated to Christian education and inner reflection while afternoons are spent swimming, hiking, crafting or playing. Older campers get a chance to sign up for the ropes course, climbing tower, creek hike, and other adventures.
Performing Arts
During this week, campers bring their talents and interests to the stage to create an unforgettable performance and learn a little about themselves all at once. Afternoons and evenings are spent enjoying regular Mikell activities. Family and friends are invited to the show, and then, to a picnic lunch at the end of the week. (Note: there is no bus going back to Atlanta at this camp.)
Work Camp
Here is your chance to give back to a place that has given so much to so many. Come work alongside your brothers and sisters for a week of sweat, fun, and ministry. Mornings are spent working on work projects with afternoons and evenings filled with regular Mikell favorites. This session ends after lunch. The bus going back to Atlanta will arrive at approximately 3:00pm.
Outdoor Camps
These popular camps are a different way to experience a camp community. Campers live in tents on both Mikell property and nearby trails. They get a chance to try some adventure activities and hike to some beautiful places. A chaplain accompanies each group for an even more meaningful experience.
