How can I help? Mikell is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. If you are an Episcopalian in our Diocese, then this is YOUR place. Mikell receives a supplement from the Diocesan budget each year. Over the past four years, this supplement has varied. This year, we will hopefully receive a supplement that will take us back to where we were in 2002. Of course, since 2002 prices for food, energy costs and insurance have increased significantly. We do not have parishioners at Mikell, so we rely heavily on donations from individuals.
Mikell provides a unique and wonderful experience from countless campers and groups, and we count on your donation to help us continue this important ministry of the Diocese.

* Support Mikell through our Annual Campaign: For the past two years, the Mikell Board of Governors has worked hard on initiating a successful Annual Campaign. The money raised has helped Mikell reduce our debt for our new pool built in 2002 and to support our operating budget. If you do not receive the Annual Campaign mailing and would like to, please contact Camp Mikell and we will be glad to add you to our list.
* Annual Mikell Golf Tournament: For the past two years, the Board of Governors has also sponsored a golf tournament fundraiser. Thanks to the Ballard Family, a golf course is donated for a fun and beneficial day of golf. The tournament has been held in August. * Scholarship Support: Mikell has a wonderful tradition of not turning down any child who could not come to Mikell because of financial reasons. Please make a donation to support the Mikell Scholarship Fund.
* Pool Fund: In 2002, Mikell faced the situation of having our pool condemned. The Board decided to build a bold new pool that is state of the art. This exceptionally safe and wonderful pool complex is enjoyed by summer campers and groups in the spring and fall. Mikell does not have parishioners to draw support from, so we count on people like you to help pay for this great addition to Mikell. Please support our new pool today.
* New Art Building: Mikell is underway building a new Art Building. This will also be a wonderful new addition to what we have to offer. If you would like to support this project, please contact Bishop Allan at fallan@mindspring.com.
* Wish List: New Tractor, Copy Paper, Rechargeable AAA Batteries and Chargers, Sharpies, New Roof for Scott Dorm, New Roof for the Chapel, Adopt a Room/Cabin (mattresses, comforters, furniture, mattress covers)
